At the law office of Douglas L. Melevin, I have over 40 years of experience helping people throughout the central Willamette Valley and the Oregon Coast, including Eugene and Springfield. I have been a trial lawyer my entire career, first as a prosecutor with Lane County before turning to private practice. A seasoned litigator, I have taken over 1000 cases to trial and provide assertive and knowledgeable advocacy in court. However, my experience has also given me the perspective to know that the time and cost of litigation may not be appropriate for all situations.
